As per Baase, we are truly living in a technological transformation era where technology play a major role in transforming the lives of the people in both positive and negative ways. Everything is available with a click of a button, and anything is possible with the technology. Technology helps in construction as well as in the destruction.

Today, computers have truly changed the lives of the people. It is a kind of a revolution which brought a change just like the industrial revolution. With the advent of the technology, there are different social media platforms available which has helped people to connect each other from anywhere in the world.

With the technological advancement, desktop computers have also been replaced by laptops, palm tops, i-pads etc. Anything is accessible over mobile phone now. The mobile phones have become a part of this paradigm shift.

This had both positive and negative impacts on the society as a whole. Positive effects like - increased awareness on the social and economic issues, with technology, online shopping has also increased considerably.

Negative impacts like hacking, and unauthorized access controls have increasingly became more. Frauds and crimes have also increased in the society.
