Due to strategic alliance and joint ventures the company was able to get various advantages such as credibility of locals, availability of local resources and even it helped them in bringing American technologies. The company tries to adjust and understand the market in which they play. They are reliable on the advisers people who understand the specific market deeply and even they have members of their own legal team based all over the world who continuously emphasis to understand the need of locals and changes in the market closely. So the company operates under the local law in the specific market. The CH2M uses cooperative strategies to influences its environment. They try not to disrupt the operations of the company while implementing their functions and operations. They understand and follow the trade protection law of the company, they follow the rule of the trade sanctions, excess control; and trade control, and even try to understand and follow up the local rules. To address the environmental uncertainty they prefer to outsource some of its functions such as technology, accounts and customer care.
