Spirituality can be interpreted in many ways. From my understanding, spirituality is being connected to a higher sense of being and to find purpose and positivity. (Taking Charge of Your Health & Wellbeing.) It also means to be connected to your inner self. Religion and spirituality are often mistaken to be the same. Spirituality is broader than religion. People use religion as a way to express their spirituality by living by a set of beliefs and practices. Someone can be spiritual, but not be religious. (YouTube 2013)
Spirituality can be incorporated in health care in many ways that will resonate among the staff and patients. Being passionate about your career in helping others back to health should make one feel like they are serving a greater purpose. Radiating positive energy to your fellow staff and patients can be done simply by expressing compassion and treating everyone with dignity and respect. Working as a team and listening to patients when they express their feelings and needs is important. Going the extra mile for others and making ethical decisions is also a good way to incorporate spirituality.
In Deontology, there is focus on duty and welfare of humans. In Utilitarianism, there is a focus on benefit of an action; which would determine whether or not it is considered a good one. In connection with spirituality, these two theories support finding purpose in life and being connected with others in a positive way. It is the essence of spirituality in healthcare organizations.

Yes , I agree.Spirituality awakens your sense and sets a broader goal for life. Spirituality can resolve many issues related to human conflicts and gives an edge in resolving issues. Spirituality brings a much-needed environment of peaceful coexistence of human being.Spirituality in leader brings a new dimension to management leads to unleashing your inner power to achieve organization goals. Spirituality sets as an unconditional tool and takes the productivity to new hights. Many service organizations excel in this competitive world by adopting spirutaul route and to do that we need build spirua leadership at all level in the organization.Spriruality in service organization especially in health care brings best in the professional life and builds confidence among its patients. Many organization in social services reap the benefit of productivity gains by triggering spiruality and it beyond Utilitarianism. Spirituality delinks utilitarianism and sets bigger goal which we can’t quantify. Spritaulism brings much-needed empathy in understanding customer needs and it is fantastic way to inculcate design thinking in the organization to serve the customer and society.
