Explanation / Answer

A former customer has come into the store to get a refund on an item your store does not sell. From his appearance, you come to believe that the customer is going through hard times. Using the Reputation lens, what do you do?

Reputation Lens: Natives of this lens emphasize the core values of equality and sensibility.

There are 3 main vantage points in the lens. They are Vantage point of intention, point of empathy, Integration.

In this case reputation lens point of empathy can be used and help the customers. At the same time this has to be told to customers that it is a wrong way of finding source of money and has the duty to tell him to do things in the right way. This kind of un ethical things should not be reapted any where else.

Based on Virtue ethics, Virtue ethicists discuss in detail the nature and definition of virtues and other related problems. It stress on ethical theory and will oppose such situation at any situation. Thus customer at any situation should not involve in such un ethical practices.
