The machine stamps out a wallet, heat seals the wallet, and folds it in .98 minutes and then waits idle. One operator takes the wallet out (.80 minute) inserts the picture holder (.49 minutes) arid packs it in a gift box (1.00 minute). Operator time for each activity:-

Taking out wallet = 0.8 min

Inserts picture holder =0.49 min

Packing =1min

Total operator time: 2.29 min

Since there are two operators, activities can be divided

Suppose taking out wallet and inserting picture id done by single operator = 1.29mins

Packing is done by other = 1min

This way we can reduce idle time of second operator to only 0.29 min

C. Since operator 1 is working at full capacity

Number of wallets be made = (60/1.29) * number of work hours per day
