Please respond to the initial question by day 5 and be sore to port two additional times to peers and/or instructor by day 7. The initial post by day 5 should be a minimum of 150 words. Explanation / Answer

Presidential primary elections are the nomination process that indirectly involves voters in a limited capacity. Here, voters select the delegates and delegates select the nominee for the presidential election.   It is an important step in the final presidential election, but it does not decide the name of the president. Thus, it does not pose to be a serious problem as long as it is corruption free, democratic and true to the principles. Otherwise, any candidate coming through the primary elections will not win in the final presidential election.
Too many elections posing a serious problem could be a serious problem in the absence of awareness, media and information technology that spread the message. But, it is not the case, today. Having too many elections is the result of no. of states in the USA.
Contributions are made to fund the political campaign. Corporate or other business houses have been doing it since long time ago. It reflects an allegiance towards a particular party, but, it should not be treated as a protected expression as elected president works for the whole USA. Simple allegiance can only earn empathy, but no any significant favoritism towards anybody.
If, contribution is made secretly and in a discreet manner without any divulging/ disclosing or maintaining of its proper record to benefit somebody in person and get specific favors in return. Then, it should be treated as a bribe.
