Explanation / Answer

Enterprise wide network:

Enterprise wide network refers to the network of computers and communication happening within the limits of any organisation, or simply on the private server of an enterprise. You can also term it as Local Area or Enterprise Area network. Enterprise wide network is normally used where we have communications and information being shared between and inside the organisation only.

Cloud computing is something which is beyong the enterprise. In cloud computing, the communication (sharing the data, data management, manage data, process data) etc, do not happen in the premises of a set enterprise rather a set of remote servers which are hostel over the internet. So many companies are now a days using the concept of cloud computing.

Cloud computing is not about a hard drive, its about keeping and managing records over servers. No one knows the exact location of the data, its somewhere on the server, and that is why we call them clouds. Everything happening on a cloud(a remote server) and not a physical device.

One of the simplest example would be Google Drive. You might have used it. Where do you keep your data on the drive? Yes, it is not you PC or some computer hosted by Google. Its somewhere on the servers of the Google, some clouds not you or me not someone else know.
