Following are the significant factors that company has contributed to employees when leaving the organization
1. Knowledge and Experience - The employee will have good sets of knowledge and experience to demonstrate its capability in future. He got trained in company and can create a good career path in future.
2. Professional Skills - The employee strengthen and develop his professional skills such as communications with client and supplier, quick learning skills, flexibility and adaptability, etc.
3. Networking with customers and suppliers - Maintaining network with coustomers and suppliers. They can guide and give the idea to adapt change. They are the best advocates in any situation.
Following are three methods organizations could utilize to retain their employees.
1. Employee Engagement - It allows the company to engage with employees of different department. It helps to know the team better and improve team work.
2. Better ideas - Company gets creative and better ideas from employees whom they implement for the success of the project.
3. Sense of ownership - Employees can express their views and ideas to the company and give them the sense of ownership.
4. Employee Satisfaction - Employee feel motivated when they are being involved in decision making. This helps the company to retain their loyal employees.
Example - There is an export company where there is only 5 employees. Slowly and gradually team size increased and began to adopt culture. Now, every end of the month, company conducts a small party to appreciate the employee's hardwork.
Example - The company allows an employee to take important decision with customers and suppliers. This makes employee happy and feel a sense of ownership.
