PPE is essential for employee safety in an organisation. Safety first is the motto for all industries. Failure of safety measures is a failure of whole system. It can even cause the damage of a human life and their supporting families. It helps in endurance of employees health .

Mission of the program is all about awareness of using PPE during work time, usage of PPE, kind of PPE required for various jobs etc.

Responsibilities

1 Employer: Arrangements of PPE, procurement and management activities, provide training for using PPE, track the PPE usage and guide them for its importance.

2.employee: Use right PPE on right time, advise coleagues as well to use PPE, prepare report of PPE usage and submit the inventory level and maintenance requirement to higher authorities.

Safety provisions:

Quality checks for PPE, plan for training programs and make all required employees available for the program, Take permission from higher authority and hire a registered quality inspector for conducting the training, prepare the report and forward the action plans to all employees,

Program Management

Select a main co-ordinator ( Quality head Intra) and other representatives frm each department for the program management. Make a calender for that program on a frequent basis ( like once in a quarter), arrange mock drills for testing PPE usage and other health and safety programs, Promote reward program for best PPE followers.
