Objective

Objective of this project is to understand the difference between basic counting, combination and permutation from real life examples.

Step 1: Get as many Coke/Pepsi caps as you can. Record the codes.

Step 2: Figure out the number of digits and the number of outcomes for any digit.

Step 3: Explain the rules of the code System.

Step 4: Compare codes from step 1 and code from step 3. Do you find a match? Match entire code or single digit(s)?

Basic Counting : Basic counting is the simple counting of the nos.Here

Combination : Combination is statistical tool , used to select the specific characters it may be letters , numbers etc from the whole group.

Eg.If the word "Volleyball " , In this letter there are 10 words are there.If we want to select only four words from this , then how many letters will be formed.For this combination is used.

Permutation : Permutation is also a statistical tool , uses for arrangement of the words , letters , codes.

Eg."Volleyball " In this letter there are 10 letters.Now by selecting these 10 words how many different letters ca we framed .For this we need permutation.
