Explanation / Answer
Two personal strenghts:
a) Team player, i prefer working in a team rather than taking decisions individually. hence i will always encourage the common consensus of a team rather than individual's decision
b) I do not hesitate to say no or refuse things. if something is wrong it is wrong and it is better to correct on an intial stage rather than carrying it which might create more problems
Two personal weakness:
a) If I like something or subject area i prefer doing it myself rather than deligating it as a leader. i spend overtime to do and finish it.
b) If i am standing in a group and people are discussing something, in that discussion something which is wrong is being appreciated and encouraged i fail to resist and get angry if they do not listen to my say and follow the same.
action plan to overcome each weakness
Though i have never crossed the deadline even after taking a burden on myself of doing extra work and not delegating. but gradually i will maintaing a dairy to write what all i have to do and what i can delegate to the subordinates. then if i will have extra time i will help subordinates to do that work and guide them rather than doing it myself
Also, for the second weakness i will try to listen to everyone and rather than being angry i will try to make them understand where are these people going and thinking wrong in a polite manner rather than arguing or getting angry.
steps that you can take to grow in each area of strength
Try to set example for others, leading by example by describing and showcasing the wonders which could be done if we work in a team. to go individually and work with different teams to help them and also to learn from different team players where and how i can improve
Make people understand why i said no, and showing the flip side that if i would have said yes, what could be the possible repurcussions.
