the first part of the above said that why employees against to join in unions. when the relationship between employee and employer is strong and going good, there wont be any need of unionism or any other constitutional body. but when the relationship becomes weaker and both the parties are not performing with trust, then the relationship becomes weaker. in these times they require support from external parties like unioins.
part-2: joining in unions will help the employee to get more employement security, and whenever they had a problem it can be resolve by proper way or procedure. the employee can be protected interms of employment regulations, payment, work hours and working conditions. employees will be stands together and they fight for mutual benefits.
the disadvantages of unions are; hardworkers may not treat in a seperte way, the employee and employer relations will be weaker, Industries that are ruled by labor unions have to follow strict rules, especially when it comes to job promotions. typically, the job is given to the employee who has been at the company for the longest. Qualifications and skills are not even taken into account.
