I think that though it is a hard decision to make, saving those with the greatest ability to have a longer enjoyable life is what is best. Why try to save someone who is likely to die in shorter amount of time anyway, and possibly let a healthy child or young adult suffer. Most people who are in the excluded category would honestly rather have it the way it is. If decisions such as this were needed to be made, personal feelings aside, it’s the right thing to do.

Answer :
Being a surrogate mother she can not relinquish the baby except the case on medical ground. Its tight form the both the side , with mutual understanding. Right of Katherine is that she relinquish the baby in medical case & Right of parent to not to relinquish the surrogate mother other than medical case.
What katherine does not know is that the prospective mother was killed in an out accident 2 weeks ago. 1) who has the right to the child?
Answer :
In this case first up all what contracts took place between prospective mother & surrogate mother that needs to be checked.
If prospective mother killed , then the Father of the baby can be one option if he is live
Surrogate mother can be second option if she wants.
But ever thing is defined in contract specifically else government does not allow to be surrogate mother

4. Explain how this statement affects you " healthcare practitioners often find it more difficult to withdraw treatment after it has started than to withhold treatment"
Answer:
Yes This stamen correct. For healthcare practitioners its bit easy to withhold treatment than withdraw treatment after it has started. Because healthcare practitioners are committed for the life of patients. They can’t deny the operations process after starting .
So many critical operations like Heart Bypass , Brain Surgery , Lever Surgery etc. once such cases are taken in a hand , practitioners has to complete the operations .Now results may be anything may be successful or unsuccessful.
