Jermaine and Monica are in a really great band. They would really like to play more shows and get more people to listen to their music. The problem is that they live in a small town that is far from any big city. There are very few places to play their music in the town where they live. Right now, they don’t really have enough money to drive back and forth to the city and they definitely don’t have enough money to move anywhere.

a) Devise a goal setting plan that will help Jermaine and Monica get more shows and be heard by more people. In creating the goal setting plan include an explanation of: 1. Specific problem(s) being addressed 2. Alternative solutions that can be considered by the stakeholders.

b) State the SMART goal that you have created for Jermaine and Monica. (Don’t create 5 different statements to show each characteristic of “SMART” goal. Create one goal statement that is 1-3 sentences long)

a)

Mr. J and Mrs. M are one of the finest band in their town. They are very passionate about their band and want to make their career by making presence in city. The problem arises here is they don't have enough money to travel to the cities. This is the major obstacle which set back in making career in music industry.

There are two solution for this case - Firstly they can earn some money by playing music in their town instead of playing free. Secondly they can take loan from either bank or relatives. This will create enough money in traveling to cities. They can even ask for sponsorship where they return the ROI to the sponsoror after becoming good band in cities.

b)

The goal of the band should consists of four characteristics which could drive the success - Integrity, creativity, punctuality and quality. The goal of band is to slowly move to city and start geting fames from people. Their mission is to go to city and make their career. Their vision is to get famous in the country
