Reflecting on the five aspects of team composition in Figure 11-4, which do you think were contributing factors to the success or failure of your team experience? Was one aspect the predominant factor or were there multiple contributing aspects? And finally, if you were responsible for assembling a work team for a long term project how would you approach and define each of these five aspects for your new team? Let us consider a team that was very unsuccessful in conducting a seminar in the college. Lot of factors that let to the failure of them
One of the factors that contributed most to the failure of the team in organising a seminar was the Member's ability. The members were not able to perform the various roles that were are assingned to them. The members inability to perform the assigned roles contributed largely to the failure of the entire team.
Apart from the member's ability to execute the responsibilites, there were also various other factors that contributed to the failure. The member's personality was another major contributor. The member's personality is the one that defines the member's ability to accept responsibility. Personality is also very important in the team. The team itself initially before taking on the project has to decide on the personality of each and every individual.
