One day his boss, Big Joe, called Bob into his office and told him that because Intergalactic lost a big government contract, he had to let Bob go. Big Joe was sorry but he had no alternative. However, Bob had back vacation pay and would be given a severance package of $100,000 to ease his transition to another job. About a week later, Bob saw an ad in the Business Journal for new franchise seeking franchisee for a business venture known as “Roadkill Restaurant,” Bob was interested. He always wanted to own a restaurant but he did not have the education or knowledge as to how to fulfill this dream."

Following are the questions that Bob should ask Roadkill:

i) Cost:

The first thing that Bob should be asking to the company in question is that of the cost or the money required to be invested into the project in order to commence the same. This is a very important as well as a very helpful question to be asked by Bob to Roadkill.

ii) Location:

The next thing to be asked is about the location where the project is to be set up. This is very much required to be known to set up the required outlet to be opened. The area required, the length and the wideth of the area and other related things. This is a very vital question to be asked.

iii) Food Prices:

Another thing that is of importance is that of the prices of the food items to be sold in the restaurant after opening the same. This is also a very vital as well as a very helpful question that is required to be asked while going on with the process.

iv) Other Matters:

These may probably include the labour required, the raw material required, the other expenses included water, electricity etc. These are also a very essential as well as required question that are to asked by the company in question, Roadkill, by Bob.

v) Insurance:

Running a restaurant involves far more than just serving food and drink. Restaurant owners and managers are responsible for everything from employee safety to liquor liability. Insurance, licenses and safety procedures are just a few of the areas that restaurant owners should be familiar with.
