I dont understand where is that 12 coming from if p=0 wouldnt it be a=12 or 15

how come we chose 12 instead of 15

The first equation is 4a+5p<=60

if we take apples as zero, 5p = 60, or pears = 12. (as shown in the graph). If we take pears as zero, we get apples as 60/4 = 15. These values of a = 15, p = 12 is being shown by the blue line.

The 2nd equation is 5a+4p<=60

if we take apples as zero, 4p = 60 or pears = 15. If we take pears as zero, we get apples as 60/5 = 12. These values of a = 12, p = 15 is being shown by the red line.
