some of the trends in organizational design are -

1> Give responsibility to employees - It has been proved that employee empowerment is a good thing in an organizational structure. If any organization give the power to take immediate decisions and responsibility then it increases the employee job satisfaction and performance. So they have to place all employees into a team and give the power to all team members to work independently. Then all employees will perform well and show their experience.

2> Adaptability - Nowadays there is a trend in an organizational design which is adaptability. Employees can take decisions to make the work progress smoothly. So every organization can adopt a matrix structure where administrative functions remain hierarchical but decisions can be taken by the employees. This structure is so strong as it supports other trends like employee empowerment and flatter organizations.

3> Flat organization - It is an important trend in an organization as in this structure there is no middle-man between the employees and the team leader/manager. In this structure, the manager has huge responsibilities as he/she has to handle a large number of employees and give them support, direction etc. The manager can get less help from superiors as the number of superiors is limited.

These are some trends and the reason for taking as a good idea for the Fields to consider for some employees.
