I am writing a report for my human resource management class that is dependant on whether I graduate college or not. The assignment was to choose a potential job in an organization and and do a report on the following: (read to the bottom you don't need to answer all these, while that would nice I know its unrealistic)
Develop a recruitment and selection plan. Include the target area (internal or external), design an application form for the position and indicate the selection tools used.
• Explain what screening tools (tests) you would use for the position to achieve the best candidate that fits the organization.
• Design unstructured and structured interview questions for the position
• Give and explain the type of training required for the candidate in the position.
• Choose the technique you would use to appraise the position. Design an example of the areas you would evaluate.
• What retentive measures would you undertake to reduce turnover on the position?
• Develop a strategic pay plan for the position. Include ways in which you evaluated the position to formulate a competitive offer for the position. What benefits and services would you offer to be competitive?
I REALLY need help on the last bullet, if you could help with that and possibly provide how you did it with sources, etc. I would forever owe you one.

As we all understand the company structure, when an organization wants to expend they required the resources which can help them in the development of the organization. For all this is the basic need apart from the place and machinery i.e. MANPOWER and here the role of the Human Resource come into the picture. The HR main role to identify the potential area where the Manpower needed and also what quality and skills should an employee have, this all to be considered.
So for any of the position HR follow the below steps for hiring the potential candidate for the organization.
• Explain what screening tools (tests) you would use for the position to achieve the best candidate that fits the organization.
Once position develop in an organization and invites are sent to the potential candidate, and application received for the applicant then first step it has gone through the screening test. Screening Test examine the below parameter in the job application share by candidate. Like as-

Structured Question:
Structured questions are the pre-arranged question for the position.

Unstructured Question:
Unstructured Question are not pre-arranged question, these are came into picture at the time of interview only. May be they are the consequence of some other structured question.
Like-
If I ask tell me about your-self and in the answer given by candidate they mention I have a gap of 2years in my education and suddenly interviewer shifted from the structured question to unstructured question like, why is this gap in your education? What is the reason of this gap? Etc.. these are termed as unstructured question.
• Give and explain the type of training required for the candidate in the position.
Every company has different work style, two company work differently for even the same type of work scenario, here is the role of training came into the picture. It means that it trained the potential candidate with the work culture of the company, how its work, what are the strength and weakness of the company, like wise. It give the candidate overall knowledge about the work scenario in the organization.
Training also required for the candidate, when any new technology came into the market and our company wants our employee to be versed in that then training will help the candidate to develop his skills.
• Choose the technique you would use to appraise the position. Design an example of the areas you would evaluate.
Appraisal is the motivation technique for the employee, it like a carrot for them to do something better for them and help to achieve the goal of the company. There is so many type of tools through which organization appraise the position.
Like-
Example- Every employee are looking for the growth path in the organization, which means that they are looking for their growth along with the companies target. And this is the responsibility of the company to promote the best candidate for the further role, who can hold the name of the organization and also help to further improve it. So organization can go with any of the above mention tools for evaluating the candidate for the promotion.
• Develop a strategic pay plan for the position. Include ways in which you evaluated the position to formulate a competitive offer for the position. What benefits and services would you offer to be competitive?
For pay strategy of the position, we first need to understand that what profit we are looking for as a company. Profit not in terms of saving money after selling a goods and services, it means where you are saving money on the outflow of the company, like example, if any company invest let say 40lac in a year on Translation for the business need, so if company hire 4employees at 4lac per annum each and they work for 9hour five day for your company that company cost will be reduced by 24lac per annum. This can be your pay strategy for the position.
Sometime pay position depend on the competitor payout for the position, let say if any of the new and burning technology came into the market and your competitor make some establishment in that technology and this is the need in the market, so our company payout strategy depend on what competitor offer to that position.
Our payout strategies for the position is like incentive given to the employee on every deal or completion of the target.
