Administrative Law plays a significant role in our judicial system. Matters reserved to judicial tribunals lesson the load on our state and federal court systems. However, some feel that all matters should be able to be tried to the jury system and that forcing individuals in specific circumstances to plead their case in an Administrative Law setting is unfair in light of the Constitution's recognition to the right to a jury trial in civil matters. Do you think it is fair to have an alternate judicial system in the form of Administrative Law tribunals. Why or why not? Administrative law is useful in settling disputes and the framework for the same has been provided by the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) . Through the mode of arbitration, parties can solve their disputes and get adequate compensation in a fast and efficient manner without taking the route of a trial by jury. Since the Administrative law route is typically taken by businesses to settle a commercial dispute or an arbitration procedure occurs between an individual and a firm to settle disputes related to the consumer rights etc., so in most of these matters, time is of essence and this where the arbitration route has an advantage as it can provide quicker settlement.

Moreover, the judiciary is already overburdened by legal cases and the time taken to resolve cases is only increasing. So if all cases take the route of trial by jury, the legal process would get more congested and time taken to resolve dispute and issues would also be lengthened, as a result in these cases the arbitration route provides for an excellent alternative to resolve disputes and thus administrative law tribunals play a key role in this system.
