Explanation / Answer

1.Change process process that I experienced in my professional life is as follows:
I was working as a production engineer in a company that manufactures temperature control instruments. Hence it was my responsibility to ensure that inventory required for manufacturing the instruments is available. But there would be cases when I had to order parts for instrument in urgency. Hence taking approval from the manager would consume extra time. Therefore suggested that in case of urgency of the parts of instrument approval is not very important. Which was implemented in a week's time. After which after with service cycle of the production of instrument reduced.

2. Providing efficient and faster service to the customer is of ut most importance. Providing efficient service to the customer is what motivated me to implement the change.

3. In the above situation my manager was also a leader motivated me to suggest any changes that would improve the production process.

4. I thanked my manager for accepting the suggestion. I would motivate the people whom I lead by managing and controlling my own actions. This would help in influencing my team as well. As it is rightly said "action speak louder than words". Other strategies that can be formed in order to motivate the team member could be designing a reward program for accomplishing a target assigned.

5. Techniques that can be used to motivate Six Sigma team would be to provide training in the following area:
1. Kanban system
2.value stream mapping
3.pareto chart
4.process mapping
5.development of project charter
6.cause and effect analysis

6. Knowing about the change process is only way to improve your ability to make changes in future. Because by knowing the process you are aware of the nitty-gritty of the process which would help in redesigning the entire system that require changes in the future.
