•   Make employees belief that they can participate in innovation by giving ideas and thinking in the direction which will help them propose well thought out ideas. Sessions could be conducted to help people understand that how they can start thinking in the direction of innovation.
•   Enforce many industry wide learning techniques in the organisation so that it gives ample opportunity to the people to practice the same and become less change resistant.

Also there is another side which states that innovation cannot be taught, some of the barriers are:
•   Lack of belief in the people that innovation can be taught and practiced.
•   Lack of awareness and untrained staff and no particular techniques strategies used to inculcate innovation.
•   Different people have different beliefs and understanding level which is again a bigger hindrance.
•   Monotonous work is also a barrier which freezes the minds of the people to think differently.
•   Lack of quality leaders
•   Uninterested employees and more focus on achieving targets rather than taking risks by thinking innovatively.
