Explanation / Answer
These five challenges are the most important because these challenges if not handled properly can lead to high level of dissatisfaction among the consumer and lead to business collapse. This is true with any industry operating in today’s world as the consumer are the source of income for any business.
I would like to take an example on transparency and system. In today’s changing need, consumers have become more demanding and they are ready to pay extra for getting a good treatment. I have visited two hospitals in my hometown, one was government aided and the second one was a private one. There is no system followed in the government hospital and transparency was also very little. But, in the private hospital the systems were in place and full transparency was there. The time taken to meet a doctor and go through all the check up processes was too long in the government hospital as compared to the private one.
I think these challenges are enough to be focussed on and are important to handled in a better way. No, I think these challenges will not be different in a physician office environment versus a hospital. However, the intensity may be different in both the cases due to the size of the consumer base in both the cases. But, these kind of challenges are present throughout the industry and can be handled by making a proper strategy
