Schools play a very critical part in the budding life of an individual. The foundation of his or her personality is set in the school. Therefore it is imperative for the school as well, to give the best to the students. It is the primary function of the school governance to maintain accuracy and transparency of all the processes involved in the school, which must be aimed at making a student, a better person. School governance is responsible for maintaining the culture of the school by regulating the ways in which it should operate and impart education. The direction of the school majorly depends on the school governance and finance. Adequate finance availability is important for the school to expand in various domains and give education to our children. There are many socialites who give donations to school for its funding. Some ex students also want to help their alma mater by providing some contribution. All these indeed help in the working and growth of the school.
I do remember when I was in Class 9th, we wanted the inclusion of a new subject for skills learning. The student’s representative had several discussions with the school governance about the same but the finances of the school were not that sufficient to expand in a new domain. Though the school governance tried their best to convince the trust and board of directors of the school about the same, none of them were pretty convinced and so release of funds was not done. This was not just the loss on the school governance’s part but also the students became quite disappointed.
