1. Drug Abuse and Treatment Act (1972): This legislation is passed in order to wipe out the drugs abuse in the state. As per this legislation a Special Action office has been designed in order to prevent, educate, treating, rehabilitating, training, and research

Emergency Medical Treatment and Active labor Act of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (1985): This is an act passed by USC in order to provide emergency medical treatment to all people who are in need of the medical treatment regardless of the potential to pay for it, citizenship, etc.

3. Federal Tort Claims Act (1946): This is an act which removed the immunity of the federal government from the torts it has performed. It provides permission to the private parties to sue against the officials and the organizations who belongs to the federal government if they perform any torts.

4. Patient Self-Determination Act (1990): This legislation has been passed in order to inform the patients regarding their rights and privileges while considering their own health care and medications. The health care organizations are to provide correct information about the medication and relevance of those medicines for the treatment.

5. Privacy Act (1974): This legislation establishes a code for the health care organization while considering the information and data of the patients or the customers of the health care organizations. This law insist the health care organization to collect, use, maintain and dissemination of the data in an appropriate manner.
