You will build upon that discussion as you describe the main entities or objects of the university business function/operation, as well as the manner in which they relate to one another. o Describe the main entities or objects of the university business function/operation. Specify the attribute that would be the primary key for each entity, and provide a rationale for why you selected such an attribute. o Determine whether the relationships between each of the chosen entities are one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many relationships. Objectives / functions of operations in a university :

* The prime and important function of a university is to do all those things to build a respective student into expedient and capable of facing challenges and creating development in his own chosen department of subject.

* it has to provide various courses of study. Conduct bathhouse exams and award the students with respective degrees , awards.

* has to facilitate those programmes which craft the experience of student in further job dealing. Eg : projects conducting and submission.

* facilitate for respective research work.

* May also collaborate with various educational institutions / cultural promoting forums and bring various fun filled awareness programmes.

* parallely it has to manage , maintain , create / dispose various assets of university / in the name of university.

* May collaborate with various graduates / associations and guide its students in various innovative and research work shops.

On a whole , a university is that roof which has to ensure in all aspects and all angles to develop a kind of awareness among students on the field of studies they have chosen and help them in developing those basic soft skills which is expected by every work field.

For this purpose it maintains relations with many business units / institutions / any other.

* relations with various placement departments of institutions. Where the university benifits on providing job secured gaurentee to the students studying in it where as the placement department will be benifited with ready available human resource continuosly every year.

Here the relation between placement department / recruitment department of companies and universities can be termed as one to one relation.

* collaborations with various professional units where the unit train and helps students in evolving their work field.

Here the student gets benifited in various ways and thus relation between university and collaborated units is one to many. Where as relation of students with professional training unit is one to many.

* it accepts funds / assets from various trusts and uses them to see the students and achieve various objectives. Here the relation between trustees and students is many to many.
