“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

“A job worth doing is worth doing well.”

“As sure as death and taxes.”

Explanation / Answer

1. Where there is smoke there is fire.

This respective adage describes that smoke is the symnolic notation to understand the presence of fire.

Thus it csn be compared to trouble stage of process improvement planning.

The process / processes not being fruitful / prevailing defective can be compared to fire where as the defective planning / improving methods / methodology can be compared to smoke.

That means as smoke itself is indicator of fire and fire once started raises smoke even the faulty procedural outputs and lowlevel improvement planning both are interlinked and existence of one indicates the other by default.

2. Output is the one via which the efforts / planning / procedures or any other respective effects put by the maker are depicted.

The ultimate purpose of any manufacturing unit is to satisfy their customers.

Thus initially the output / product which is not able to serve customers up to satisfactory level is identified.

Then the reason for customers dissatisfaction is found.

Then company tries to find out reasons whether defective procedural aspects / any other. After that it will try to modify easy procedural aspects to improvise output and niw finally it gets ready to make high budget modifications if necessary.

3. BPI is a business process improvement design which I a whole is planned / designed to redesign the procedural aspects of unit and sketch an improvised processes to increase production.

Their is no limitation to this process like extending only to viewing tool level / deciding the existence and time of processes.

It observers the unit , its procedural aspects as a whole. Then understands clients need and as per that make required changes in required areas whether it may be tool level , procedure designing level etc.

4. The planning of BPI itself is to improve organisations performance such that it meets its goals and profits amplify to stakeholders.

On comparing the pre BPI and post BPI results states the level of effectiveness being created / improvement developed.

Thus to understand clearly sometimes it is required to compare. It cant be unanimously started as truth or false.

It depends on situational aspects observed in every single unit.
