Please help me answering these last 3 questions for my upcoming homework. I'm having some difficult collecting my answers for them. 1. What is the difference between racial prejudice and racism? What is "institutional racism"? What examples of "institutional racism" can you identify for African American, Asian, Hispanics, or people of other ethnical background in U.S.?
2. In what societal institutions can institutional racism be found?
3. What would you suggest to help address Racial Disparities in the United States?

Ans: Difference between Racial prejudice and Racism are as -
(a) Racial prejudice :
- It is a negative attitude towards a group of people based on race.
- It is arrised from race based stereotypes.
- These are the qualities assigned to groups of people related to their race, nationality, gender and sexual orientation.
(b) Racism :
- It is the belief in the superiority of one race over another.
- It is the antagonism that assumes someone is inferior because of race or skin colour.
(c) Institutional racism :
It is the racial discrimination within a society or organization. In simple words societal patterns that oppress certain groups on the basis of race or ethnicity is institutional racism.
Example of "institutional racism"
When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, the U.S. public viewed Americans of Japanese descent suspiciously. Acting with this idea in mind, the federal government decided to round up more than 110,000 Japanese Americans and place them in internment camps.
Societal institutions where institutional racism was found are in the history of American healthcare. This involved the U.S. government funding of syphilis studies on poor black men in Alabama and sterilizing black women in North Carolina, as well as Native American women.
In order to help address Racial Disparities in the United States. The ignorance towards Racial prejudice and Racism should be avoided. The constituitional law against racial discrimination should be effectively taken care by Government. law enforcement practices and their possible contributions to racial disparity should be taken care by media, government and institutions.
