Your friend posted a message on Instagram that makes extremely rude comments about the president of the United States. In the message, he used profanity and images of animals to get his point and feelings across. In response, thousands of people are making negative comments about his post. What is it about his tone that caused people to have a negative response to his message? What advice would you give him to improve his message? Make sure to explain your answer.

In the given case, our friend needs to understand that even with the first amendment freedom of speech in effect, there is a need to follow a proper decorum, especially while addressing a person with such an important place of position as well as power. He is allowed to criticize the president but using profanity and making comparisons with an animal would only result in outrage in the minds of the supporters and even the general public would not understand the reason behind the actions the friend. Therefore, in order to get his point across without getting the angry responses from everybody, there is a need to understand the correct protocol that needs to be followed, the words need to be chosen carefully, the situation analyzed, the facts rechecked and then, our friend can get his point across for actual debate rather than preparing for war.
