Persuasiveness is the ability to convince people and agreeingly move towards the direction you want them to. Successful leadership requires the quality of persuasion to a high level as good leadership is where u can get things done by others in the more effective and amicable manner. Getting them done by force or fear will not bring the results as done by wish and interest will. Such results can only be derived if the quality of persuasivness is applied succesfully. Successful persuasion can be done through proper planning and analysing the situation keenly. The behaviour of the subordinates, the type of work to be done and many such other factors are essential to be considered for persuasion. A person will listen to your ideas and instruction if he is given the importance and heard. So listening to others thoughts and feedbacks on the work they have been assigned by you is a way in which you can make him feel involved and then persuade him to get your work done. Having proper facts and figures as evidences will support your persuasion and make it stronger. Just telling someone to do something becuase you as a leader find it right is not enough reason to give for persuasion, but instead making him understand why you feel it right should be provided to him for strong persuasiveness. Other then this a good leader and a strong persuasion can come up even more effectively if you connect to the person emotionally along with intellection connection. a leader is heard and followed better who is emotionally attached to his team than that who keeps a formal connection only.
