First, select a "talk" (aka presentation or speech) that interests you from the 1,100 TED Talks (ranging in length from 3 to 18 minutes).
FYI: TED Talks was selected because each speech video should have enough depth or substance, and video quality to allow close viewing and analysis.
Second, review chapters 10, 11 and 12 of your text.
Third, listen to the presentation several times, paying close attention to how the individual uses non-verbal communication, composes sentences, and organizes thoughts, etc. Use the outline below to structure your analysis:

Explanation / Answer
The Ted talk I have picked is 'do schools kill creativity' by Ken Robinson. It is an interesting and educating way of making a strong powerful statement. It presents strong introduction by presenting creativity in education as a significant aspect for literacy. It has an effective way of presenting information by covering relevant information and presenting the case in parts. The first part covers the aspect of children being inherently creative. The second part is regarding educating the children and helping them to fulfill the requirements of the industrialized society. The focus on fueling academic inflation has been presented effectively. Part 3 stresses on the importance of embracing diversity of human intelligence. It concludes with the importance of educating children and bringing bright future for them
It presents information in deductive situation then followed by complication, resolution and narrative structure. It is an effective way to begin the discussion with something that the listener will connect with. This is an interesting art of persuasion. Then it brings series of questions and addresses important pressing questions. The intensity of the problem is discussed and the speaker had strong conclusion.
The talk is supported by proof points. Personal story is also used as an enabling way to communicate the message. The tone is persuasive and it uses self contained story to make a difference. Proof points are used to pack in a very dense manner into the speech.
There were also important comic stories added to it along with personal commentary. These were important to add entertainment value to it.
Description and dialogue helped the audience to live the story effectively.
The speech was customized for the audience in an effective manner. The combination of engaging the audience with entertainment value and elaborating on important points without unnecessary repetition helped.
