I am writing this memo to apprise you about my decision to enroll in a course focused on improving professional writing and a request to recommend to reimburse the course fee by the organization.
I am presently working as Executive-Brand communication (Traditional Media) and my work involves writing newspaper articles, replying to communications from external parties and also strengthening the internal brand communication by designing newsletters, content and also contributing to the product portal. In all these functions, I have to produce content which is impeccably written and communicates the right brand message. To this end it is absolutely necessary for me to have a high degree of competency related to business and professional writing.
I am a literature graduate and hold a certification in marketing however I always felt that a professional course in brand communication would help me further in doing my job more efficiently. So with this in mind and after doing my research, I have decided to enroll for a course in Applied Brand Communication offered by University of San Jose and the duration of the course is 6 months with lectures being delivered via online mode.
The course also offers live projects and so I will be able to test my skills in working on projects involving brand communication in a real world scenario. Also since the lectures are delivered via online and in the evening, it will also not affect my work. The course fee is $5000 and I have already paid the same to secure an admission in the course. I would request you to kindly recommend for reimbursement of this fee as the coursework will definitely enrich me professionally and allow me to discharge my duties in a more efficient and effective manner.
