1: Major four determinants of prpoject success are:
Quality of the deliverables is important because it helps in establishing trust and reliability on the service provider . This reduces rework of the deliverables .
Time and budget oriented project completion fulfil the requirement of the company. This helps in optimising the resources and can utilise the time properly for the next projects .
Scope of the project is one of the significant factor for all project success. If scope is not achieved or under delivered then success factor will reduce drastically.
Client satisfaction gives more confidence to the team and it brings good reputation to the company and chances of getting more engagement with the same client is also high.
All factors to be included together inroder to have a colloborative results and all having almost same weightage for the success of the project.
2: From the top down approach on project planning, every organisation will be having proper mission statements ( which is of long term strategy).Based on the mission there will be strategic business objectives which defines the further drill down of activities to be accomplished ( in terms of market share, revenue, productivity etc.) In oroder to materilaise those objectives strategy needs to be developed ( like business , functional and technical , human resource), then goals for respective teams to accomplish and programs like projects or process to fulfil it. This results in developing various projects which creates revenue, value addition and achiveing the bigger objectives of the company within the time frame of planning.
3: Project control works in the form of having proper monitoring mechanism which can check the health of the project and also check everything going as per the schedule of the project plan. This includes various milestones, resource usage ( productivity), client response and feedback, deliverables on timely basis, budget use etc. Closed look feedback comprises of colelcting feedback and pass on the feedback to work from the initial stage and get it rectified. It helps in clearing the root cause of the issue and communicate through a structured format. It is also known as 365 degree feedback mechanism where active involvement of client is also incorporated to enhance the effectivness of the project delivery.
