Question

You may have noticed that when you look at products on a search engine, that same product appears as an advertisement in your social media and other sites you visit. Many search engines provide advertisers with tools for evaluating the impact of different keywords or phrases. These tools typically “track” user behavior patterns and associate products for sale by companies that subscribe to and pay for their services to help identify potential customers. On the other hand, there are also ad-blockers that block this type of communication. What constraints, if any, should be applied to this practice?

Explanation / Answer

When you visit to some ecommerce portal or search any product on any search engine then the systems captures the Cache. As per this Cache the search engines come to know that what exactly you want to buy. The same communication is send to the companies to target the user. The advertisement of that product blinks wherever the user opens any site.

Sometimes it is very annoying as the system gets very slow and hangs.

There are plenty of ways to get rid of this problem. Antivirus, cache cleaners, ad blocks software, browsers having ad block features, incognito mode browsing, browser history cleaning etc. There are many tools to get ride of this situation.

This tool in not illegal, and beneficial for the users to get the best deal for the products. If they want to get rid of they can implement the above tolls.

It totally depends on the customer whether he wants the notifications or not.

So here I have described some constrains.
