Explanation / Answer

**Identify the nonprofit organization and provide a short synopsis of the appeal or cause.

There are three non-profit organization involved in the appeal i.e. American Heart Association, American Medical Association, American Stroke Association.

The appeal is not to ignore the high blood pressure. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to heart failure, heart attack, stroke, vision loss, kidney disease, and even death. The appeal is to consult the doctor or visit the LowerYourHBP.org to learn about more.

**What are the techniques to gain attention? Are they effective?

The technique to gain attention is to show something unexpected to gain the attention with the use of serious tone. The images are not in agreement with the persons attitude or general belief about the High blood pressure.

**How does the message gain interest? Does it provide convincing evidence? Does it have a central selling point?

The message gain interest by showing the effects of the high blood pressure by showing the serious images of the persons suffering from the high blood pressure. It provides a convincing evidence by showing the testimony of the patients suffering from the consequences and breaking the assumption of the general masses.

**How does the message create (or reinforce) desire. Does it satisfy needs? If so, what kind of needs

Most people know their blood pressure numbers; many don’t follow their high blood pressure treatment plan because they feel fine and don’t notice any symptoms. The message creates desires of not going through the pain by showing what blood pressure can cause. It satisfies the need to live a long and healthy life

**Does the message have a clear call to action? If not, does this affect the message’s impact?

It has a very clear call to actions. It clearly says talk with their doctor to create or evolve a treatment plan.
