A decision problem is what a manager faces when a decision must be made. Before making that decision, the manager often does research or hires a marketing research firm to answer some key questions (known as research problems). At some point, you made the decision to enroll at ..... University for your .... business degree. Before making that decision, you probably did some digging, asked some questions, etc. I doubt you hired a Marketing Research firm, but if you did, what type of questions might you have them answer with data?

Yes, it is indeed true that we hardly hire a research firm to obtain assistance with looking for University that offers Business degree. In fact, even if we plan to resort the help of a Research Firm for a professional assistance, we at least attempt to first look out for the Universities offering the Business degree and the criteria to make it to such Universities. However, when nothing as such works, a Research firm is an answer to the worry. Accordingly, we may hire a Research firm with the following type of questions that we might have them answer with data so that their research enables us to concretize upon our final decision:

·          What is the procedure of admission in the University?

·          How far is the University from my Home?

·          If far, are there any Dormitory facilities for the students available in the University?

·          What is the ratio of the students who reside in the campus itself?

·          What are the co-curricular activities offered to the students?

·          What to the students do during the weekends? Are they allowed to go home?

·          What is the scenario of internship at the University? Do students get the same?

·          How many students out of the ones studying in the University choose to study abroad?

·          What is the structure of the tutoring course offered there?

·          What way do they assist the students on the front of the academic advices?

·          Is there a writing center at the University?

·          What is the system of the merit-award that takes place in the college?

·          Is there a scope of availing grants?

·          What is the overall package of the aid that is offered to the students financially?

·          What is the fee structure?

·          Is there any scope of work and studying together?

·          In case the students opt for educational loan, on a average, what is the kind of debt that these students pass out with?
