Why you feel that the company's focus on "customer centrality" has resulted in their success?

Explanation / Answer

The company that I believe has done a good job of understanding changing needs of customers is Domino's. Domino’s researched the reason behind the failure of their pizza and implemented change.

Domino’s has witnessed two and half years of negative sales before they implemented change. Change is the only constant in this changing business environment. Customers taste and preferences keep on changing. With these changes in customers taste, Domino’s stocks were falling and their products were gaining criticism from customers.

It was in 2010 that Domino’s has implemented change. With new recipes of Pizza they launched the company witnessed a visible growth in their sales. In 2009 the sales were $3.03 billion. And after implementation of change the the sales of Domino’s picked up in the very first quarter of 2010. Its sales picked up by 9.9 % in stores based in U.S. and international stores witnessed a hike of 6.9 %. Its sales in 2010 were reported to be $6.7 billion.
