An announcement was just made that your company is establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) and will begin expanding its use of project management to accomplish business objectives as well as to manage the business day to day. You are an experienced project manager and have been appointed to lead the first project out of the PMO. The project team has been identified and your supervisor has called a team meeting for tomorrow. You have 10 minutes on the meeting agenda to introduce the team members (none of who have ever worked on a project before) to project management. What would you do?

Project management can be seen as the implementation of skills, knowledge, tools, and methods to different project activities so that the various objectives, goals, and requirements of a project can be accomplished.
Project management is the field of initiating, planning, implementing, controlling and finishing the various activities of a team to accomplish some certain objectives and fulfill specific success methods at a certain period of time.
An individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim.
The project can be defined as an individual or collaborative enterprise which is planned with a lot of careful planning to accomplish a specific objective. The project can be seen as a temporary combination of different activities which has a certain beginning and finishing times and thus has a predefined scope and resources. The project is a unique set of activities which is not a routine set of operations but has a certain operation designed to fulfill a specific objective.
In project management, the execution of the project is done which are operated under a certain portfolio which can be executed to obtain immediate or long-term benefits for the organization in a manner it was envisioned. While in case of a functional operation, the activities or functions are performed on a regular basis, these responsibilities are well defined and there can be a cross-functional communication among the employees.
The two most important aspect of the project is the adherence to the budget and schedule. Due to the scarcity of the available resources, it is very important for all the project members to strictly follow the budget and deadlines. Any delay or divergence from these can result in huge economic losses to the organization.
