Overview:
A job analysis is the systematic process of identifying and describing the important aspects of a job and the characteristics a worker needs to do it well. It identifies the job’s important tasks and working conditions as well as the tools and technologies people doing the job use. The goal is to define the ideal individual for the job from the perspective of the company, its strategy, and the employees with whom the person will work. A job analysis is strategic if it aligns the firm’s current as well as future job requirements with the company’s business strategy.
Discussion Question:
Some jobs change so rapidly that companies do not feel that job analysis is appropriate because by the time one is done it’s already outdated.
What advice would you give such a company to help them get the benefits a job analysis has to offer without wasting unnecessary time and resources doing a traditional job analysis?

Yes, because the bulk of time and resources is needed for job analysis, resources considered very important because it is declaring the validity of the job.
Due to the technology advancement, and computer and electronic device occupying human activities, so there is chance of outdated job.
Once it is considered as outdated job no need to analysis about the job, at the same time keep thinking updated job analysis.

Today world is going very fast, working on time and taking proper time and proper work is very important traditional job analysis is not suited for current business enviornment, it needed deductive job analysis each duty and task should be alloted to the particular job, it gives clear map for employees not to confuse. Job should be given according to the employees capcity and their ability. Proper analysis gives job behaviors and the result. It leads the Organization towards competitive strategy by introducing new job position.
