sustainability is a broder consept which concern about all stakeholders to the business and concern about the environmental issues, social equity and economic aspects of the business. the base for sustainability is "leave the world better than you found and not harm to the environment". it says that this planet should be left for the coming stakeholders also.
the above said PDF is consisting of many of the models in sustainability. the two areas which i prefer to discuss are:
1. experiment, learn and adjust
2.expand conscious awareness
the first one says about the need of innovative and new methods of doing work. and one should found new ways to fulfill the needs of people with less harm to the environment. and modify the requirements according to the needs. one of the best example for this is "utilization of shell gas in US". one of the reason for global warming is emission of green house gases into the environment. by using gas, the quantity of gases can be minimized. so, one should work to found new alternatives to in this way.
2. expand conscious awareness: one should have awareness about the environment and it is our duty to protect the planet. this panet has to serve the next or coming generations in the same way how we are getting serve.
