Explanation / Answer
1)A)Implementing a strategic planning process in a company's Total Quality Management approach requires the organization to analyze and evaluate the needs of customers to determine the best approach to meet their needs. The final product and goal of the organization is creating value for consumers. The organization must make quality a top priority for everyone in the company, from top managers to the workers building product.
B) To be as lean as possible, companies can follow the five P's model sometimes used in the manufacturing sector, which refers to the first letter of the five principles of the model.
Purpose is the first of the five P's of lean manufacturing. Companies must decide the purpose for which they are creating their project. Profit is one motive, but only one among many.
The process by which a business goes about reaching the customer and producing the product is the second of the five P's. The process generally refers to the way that a business conducts itself in relation to the customer and its day-to-day internal operations.
Closely tied to the purpose of the product are the people who comprise the third of the five P's. The people for whom the product will be created and who will benefit from it are those at the heart of this concern.
The platform upon which a company carries out its process is the fourth of the five P's. This refers primarily to the various tools and technologies that a company has at its disposal.
Performance is the final aspect of this manufacturing approach. Performance refers to the way in which the company assesses its ability to fulfill the original purpose.
C)Implementing corporate strategy requires a team effort headed by your organization's leadership team. Each person involved in change management has their responsibilities, and it is important for the entire organization to understand the role of leadership in strategic implementation to make delegating responsibility more effective.Strategic implementation of any kind of new company policy or program requires participation from all of the departments that will be affected. Company leadership needs to identify what those departments are and create an implementation team that consists of representatives from each affected group. Management needs to create a structure that identifies various group leaders, the responsibilities of those group leaders and an accountability system that insures that the implementation team meets its timetable for getting the new program or policy in place.
2)a)
In the first stages of team building, the forming of the team takes place. The forming stage of any team is important because, in this stage, the members of the team get to know one another, exchange some personal information, and make new friends.
In the storming stage the team addresses issues such as what problems they are really supposed to solve, how they will function independently and together, and what leadership model they will accept. Team members open up to each other and confront each other's ideas and perspectives.
In the norming stage goals are set and plans are made. All team members take the responsibility and have the ambition to work for the success of the team's goals.
.High-performing teams are able to function as a unit as they find ways to get the job done smoothly and effectively without inappropriate conflict or the need for external supervision.
b)When people have to repeat the same activity over and over again, in time they lose interest in it. This is especially true in a day where rapid change is all around them. Change needs to be a built-in part of the organization to keep people motivated and momentum moving forward.
c)Creating an effective team begins with selecting the appropriate people to work together. Good teammates will have the capacity for working well in groups, being flexible of others
