You%u2019ve recently taken a new HR position which includes managing labor relations in your company. It is not currently unionized, but there are indications that some of the employees might be interested in joining a union. You don%u2019t have a strong background in this aspect of the HR field, so your boss has budgeted funds for you to increase your expertise. Given the following, please explain how you would spend the professional development money. (You cannot hire an anti-union consultant with this money.)

--Timeframe: The fiscal year begins July 1, 2013 and ends June 30, 2014.

--Budget: $5000. Costs should be anything needed to purchase the development, except travel costs. (We%u2019ll assume that travel money comes from another budget, so you don%u2019t have to account for those here. That isn%u2019t usual, but it simplifies your assignment.)

Note: Your boss wants you to spend as much of the funds as possible since left-over money must be returned to the corporate pool. Returning money usually means the department will have a harder time next year in securing money.

As a HR my job is to maintain a smooth flow between workers and the management in departments of all activities.The company vision and mission must go deep into the employees then only it is benifitial for the progress of any company.If any union is raising againest the company i shall look after them for a reason why they are doing so. If the reason is good enough i will promise them that i will take that issue to the higher authoritis and make the agitation down.

As the company has given me the fund. I will spend the money for thier wellfare of the workers.like free education to their children, i will try to implement pension plan, insurance, home constructions, bonous, etc...
