Suppose Mary has a recruitment agency business and as such specialise in the recuritment within the construction market for both candidates looking for jobs and companies looking for potential employees. Suppose that Mary wanted to palce a candidate in a comapny to whom the latter was famliar . Since the company was not repsonding to mary requests, mary told the candidate to contact the dircector with whom she was famliar and had a relationship with. Finally the candidate got the job but Mary fees was still pending and not paid by both the company and the client. Moreover, Mary did not have any agreement which can substantiate that. Advice three good alternetives to the issue . Explain in detail.

Mary didn't made any agreement with company or the director regarding the candidate, but she advised the Candidate to approach directly to the director. In this case, the candidate is liable to pay if he gets selected, but she cannot legally demand any fees from the company as the confidante himself went to ask for the job. Now, she can contact the candidate for her fees and reach the director to ask her for the same, by clearly making him understand the issue and she has instructed the candidate to reach out him. Or she may contact the candidate and tell him to share the issue with the company and pay the fees and ask the director to make payment from Company's side. Or she can only ask candidate to pay his fees and ignore the company's fees as they didn't agree to her request.
