The Equal Pay Act of 1963 - The Equal Pay Act of 1963 is a labor law of the United States which was formed to amend the Fair Labor Standards Act. The major aim or purpose of this Act is to demolish or prevent any disparity of pays or wages based on gender. It has always been seen that male employees are paid higher than the female employees and this Act would save the interest of the same.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 - The Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is a law that restricts or prohibits the employers from decriminating their employees at workplace on the basis of gender, race, color etc. It is an Act to protect employees from being restricted from growing at workplace just beacuse they belong to certain caste or race or possess a particular skin color. This act is applicable to all emplyers whi employ more than 15 employees.

The Age Discrimination in Employment Act - This Act was brought into picture in the year 1967. The main purpose of this Act is to protect employees aged 40 years and higher from descrimination due to their age and stops them from hiring, promotion, or payments.

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 - As the name suggests, this Act was brought into picture to protect the rights of employees with disability at the wprkplace. This act was introducted by the Congress in the United States in the year 1990. There were lots of cases which spoke about the descrimination that was shown to people suffering from disability were not given the respect and previliges that they deserved just because they were suffering from disability.
