The organisation is facing poblem in marketing the product i.e. expensive pefume. The perfume is only for high end customers so has to be marketed to places where the creme' class visit.
Stakeholder groups are marketing staff, suppliers, accounting staff and government agencies.Purpose is to sell the product to best customer at right place and right time. Place to sell the product is high-end malls, airports, specific websites, high class parties at hotels and personal parties.
Procedure is to start with test marketing at malls and on websites. When people start liking the product o for proper showrooms in malls.
In big hotels where hgh-end parties keeps on going have some small corner for the product so customer can try and then buy the product. Also royal exhibitions goes on in many places for weddings and festivals, there also product can be displayed. Sponsoring some events is also beneficial.
Convincing facts understands by company is to eliminate improper market places where the high-end people don't visit. Stop wasting resources on advertising as the product is best sold by word of mouth marketing.
The company will get benefit of test marketing before investing large amounts in making personal websites and big showrooms in mall. taking help from government agencies in placing product in airport makes procedure easier.
the drawback is the product is very specific to proper clients and they dont like products easity so if they dont like the product the company has to make change in product. Also initial huge invesstment is required to put the product in market.
Marketing channels would be directly from manufacture to either customer(internet marketing) or from manufacture to distributor to directly to mall and airports or hotels when required. they can be contacted on weekly basis as costly products are limited in addition so large stock is of no use.
