Explanation / Answer
In Traditional Management Organization, sometimes a good Project only relates itself to the tactical measures that are to be undertaken in executing the Project in an effective manner. However, in the process, the actually Strategic goals are disregarded wherein the Project goals supersede the same. In such a time, with change in the Business environment and its transition from Traditional to the modern concept of Management, the Traditional approach to Project management would lack the alignment of the Project goals to that of the Strategic goals of the Organization, thereby proving the Project to be inefficient in long run. In such situations, it is rather better to go for the modern Project management techniques and introduce tools like the Balance Scorecard in the system. This shall help the Project to move to a desirable but uncertain strategic move in the future thereby ensuring its alignment to the strategic goals.
Besides, in Project Management, the Innovation is a key to survival for any entrepreneur, given the era of intense competition unlike in the earlier Traditional Management era. It is natural to tempt the customers towards an entity that applies innovative thoughts into their processes and offers deliverables that makes more sense to the customers. Innovation further strives to create interest on the part of the customers thereby urging them to be associated with an Enterprise, be it a social enterprise or otherwise.
In this regard, it is also the innovative new approaches that makes the Project management more suitable by the entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs today than Traditional management:
