Ans 2- The negative consequences that may arrive to NUCOR is that as they are tying pay to company performance ,the company is distributing too much money to its employees which is as such not required every time although it encourages the employees but due to this the major problem that could be face is that of RETAINED EARNINGS as the company is distributing too much money to employees the chances for EXPANSION OF the business is less as the the retained earning would be low.

secondly the employees who underperform due to some reason their motivation level will be down to work again, and next time also their are chances that they may underperform.

ANS 3 - The most important effect on employees will be on their motivational level ,secondly the belongingness to work for the company may reduce and their is chances that hardworking employees may switch their job .For this the company should look out that they should panalize only subsequent employees who are underperforming for a long time ,not to the employees who have just underperformed for once or twice due to some unavoidable reasons.

ANS 5- According to me it depends on the employees of the company that how they are going to be motivated some employees are motivated from monetary rewards and some are from non monetary terms .But in case of NUCOR company the biggest thing is that the the employees have a sense of belongingness towrds the company and same fromt the side of the company towards their employees.As described inthe article the company is giving everthing what an employee needs but on performance based due to this special feature the growth of the indiviual in the company is in his own hands.The better you perform the better you grow.

ANS 6- Due to unionization in the company every employee work as as team ,every department work as a team ,they all work for the betterment of the company which indirectly leads to their betterment only.They have a sense of belongingness towards the company, as the company appreciate their employees for their work , which motivates the employee ,and when the majority of employees are motivated so when they work as as team towards a common goal definitely the result would be high .
