The rule oflaw is typically be foundin the chapter and it is the rule that applies to the issue 3) Analyze the facts ofthe case and apply the rule oflaw 4) State your conclusion based upon the facts and the law.Explanation / Answer
1 Ans:- The issue in this case is employer policies enforcement and employee's freedom. The employer expects and employee to groom in a certain manner. But, employee has a concern that he was fired the next day he showed his tatoo.
2 Ans:- The rule of law states that employer's grooming policies should not be discriminatory. The religious tatto can't be banned by an employer.
3 Ans:- According to rule of law following facts should be analysed:-
a). Was it a religious tatto?
b). Was he asked to cover his tatto at work?
c). Was he given adequate chance to behave in required way?
4 Ans:- The firing is wrong, if he hasn't been given the chance to correct himself or he has a religious tatto.
