Problem statement:

Stress is a situation, feeling, negative environment, workload, insufficient manpower etc. like conditions at the workplace which causes many bad consequences like employee turnover, low productivity and decreased clients. Global companies like Apple, IBM, Google, TATA, Reliance, Toyota, Sony etc. are investing huge some on research and methods to cope up with such challenges.

Objectives:

To find out the relevant methods which reduce the workplace stress.

Literature Review:

Stress is a word which utilized in business management to denote the tension created among employees due to heavy workload or pressure to achieve higher level of goals. Alan Bradshaw has suggested methods to mitigate the stress like Awareness, Preventing stress, Monitoring stress, responding to stress problems etc.

Research methodology:

Null Hypothesis (H0): There are no methods which can reduce the workplace stress.

Alternate Hypothesis (H1): Relevant methods can reduce the workplace stress.

Type of research: Descriptive research

Sample Size: 50

Sampling unit: Employees at ABC Corporation.

Data type: primary as well as secondary

Method of data collection: Structured questionnaire

Statistical tools: Correlation, Percentage and Pie charts methods will be utilized to show various relationships among variables.
