United Kingdom.
Dear Mr. Marlon,
With reference to your posting in the weekly "Careers" section of "The Morning Herald", I would like to be considered for the open position of "Fashion Consultant - Oriental Costumes" based at the Memphis, TN office of the company.
I have completed my Bachelors Degree in Fashion Technology from ABC Institute this year with President's credit for being the highest scorer of the batch. My portfolio, which consists of live work done in China and India, is exclusively based on Oriental designs and motifs, particularly used in the carpets and rugs. I believe that my work is appropriate for the open position with company which is in the same domain.
I request you to go through my resume, which is attached along with, which I hope, will suit the requirements of the job. Kindly suggest me a suitable time as per your convenience so that I can meet you in person with an exhibit of my work and we can discuss it further.
In anticipation of a favourable response.
Yours faithfully
